Experience the marvel of the Victorian period in this extraordinary onyx and gold brooch. it is set in 18k yellow gold. With its interesting oval like shape and ornate gold frame, the center holds a shield of of a jet black onyx and gold. Above the shield sits gallantly a bust of suit of armor. The top of the frame holds the golden dragon. The back is beautifully engraved. It says Charles Wallington, Esq, Prime Warden, 1925-1926. The bottom has hallmarked JF and, Anchor and an A encircled. It comes in its original box, Wilson and Gill Jewelers, England. Intensely enlightening. The pin weighs 23.71 grams. It measures 2" x 1 1/2".
