Undeniably glamorous this richly colored bold brooch is one of kind. It is set in 18k yellow gold. It dates from the 1950's. The center holds a colossal round rich cobalt blue lapis. Radiating from the center are spokes of smaller pieces of pear shaped lapis. Mix in .70 ct of round brilliant diamonds to bring it up to pizzazz. The diamonds are all G color and VS2 clarity. All set in an ornately textured gold mounting. Enveloping beauty from every angle. The brooch measures 1 3/8" x 1 1/2". It would make an incredible pendant as well. It weighs 25.37 grams. It is marked 18k.
