This wonderful parrot brooch is a sensational creation. It is set in 18k yellow gold. It dates from the 1960's. The parrot, in all its beauty, has an explosion of color in its plumed feathers and body. There is a burst of vibrant blue, green, red, orange and yellow enamel, overlapping each other for contrast and color. It is an enchantingly unique piece. The brooch measures 1 1/4 ”x 1 3/16". It weighs 9.78 grams. It is marked 750 (18k) and BS&F (Black Starr and Frost).
