Lavish and striking is this carnelian and onyx retro ring. Set in 18k yellow gold, it dates from the late 1940s. Set in in the center is an impressive oval shaped uniquely translucent carnelian. A piece of ridged gold cascades down the center grasped by an emerald cut piece of jet black onyx to bring the drama. Each side of the weighty mounting is also graced with a piece of the onyx creating its captivating presence. look. Impressive, imposing and spectacular. The ring measures 1 3/16" x 1 5/16" across the top. The band is 1/4" wide. It weighs 17.03 grams. It will fit a size 7 finger. It is marked MI Swiss and 750.
