This captivating synthetic ruby, sapphire and diamond flower brooch has a dreamy feel to it. It dates from the 1940's. It is set in 18k yellow gold. The foundation of the gold coiled stems are the perfect segue for the bloom of flowers that follows. The flowers are made up of round synthetic rubies, synthetic sapphires and round and rose cut diamonds emanating from the gold. It all gracefully blossoms out of the golden stem which is wrapped in diamonds. The 2 round Old European cut diamonds in each of the center of the flowers have a total approx. weight of .30 ct. The diamonds are H in color and VS2 in clarity. The rose cut diamonds have a total approx. weight is 1.00 ct. The synthetic rubies and sapphires are old European cuts and have a total approx. weight of .20 ct. This is enticing appeal all swathed up into a pin. The pin weighs 21.26 grams. It measures 2 7/16” long and 2 1/2” wide at its widest point.
