This vintage dynamic turquoise choker is set in 18k yellow gold. It dates from the 1970's. The deeply colored robins egg blue oval pieces of smooth turquoise are quintessential. The choker has 5 pieces of oval turquoise pieces set in a gold textured mounting. Alternating with the turquoise are oval shaped textured pieces of gold almost in a basket like design. The larger pieces of turquoise measure approx. 14 mm x 16 mm. The smaller pieces measure approx. 12 mm x 14.6 mm. Comfortably chic and strikingly luxurious. The choker measures 17 1/2" long. The entire piece weighs 64.52 grams. It is marked 750 (18k) and Sun Day.
