This sensational blue quartzite, multi gem and diamond pendant is from the 1970's. It is set in 18k white gold. Set in the funky teardrop shaped mounting, it holds a piece of ocean blue quartzite. Abstractly and artistically placed on the quartzite are a pieces of garnet, citrine, pink and green tourmaline, blue topaz and diamonds for dazzle. The piece is a floral homage with 2 butterflies place around melding the vibrant colors into an extraordinary piece of jewelry. The diamonds have a total approx. weight of .75 ct of round diamonds. All diamonds are H in color and VS2 in clarity. Decadently bold. The pendant measures 1 5/8"long x 13/16" wide. The bale is an additional 1/2". It weighs 25.05 grams.
