This distinctive vintage carved green jade necklace provokes a lasting impression. The necklace dates from the 1970s. Set in 18k yellow gold, it holds a stunning oval shaped carved piece of a vibrant deep rich green jade encircled by a procession of round diamonds composing a marvelous and sophisticated look. All attached to a beautifully delicate chain complimenting the look. The jade measures approx. 19 mm x 31 mm. The diamonds have a total approx. weight of 1.50 ct. The diamonds are G in color and VS2 in clarity. The chain itself measures 15" (excluding the jade pendant- 16" in total). The pendant measures 1 1/2" x 1". It weighs 11.53 grams.
