Persisting charm explains this 14k yellow gold opal lavaliere. It dates from the 1950s. Among the enchanting twists, swirls and whirls of the exquisite gold of the mounting sit 2 oval cut opals encircled by 12 round opals - all vivid and shimmering creating a scintillating design. The oval opals measure approx. 7 mm x 9 mm each. The round opals measure approx. 3 mm each. An inviting exclamation of grace. The lavaliere measures 1 5/8" x 1 1/ 4". It weighs 9.87 grams. It is marked 14k. It can be worn as either a pin or a pendant.
