This vintage graceful and chic amethyst and enamel necklace is set in 14k yellow gold. It dates from the 1960s. The star of the show is the colossal oval cut majestically purple amethyst stone. The amethyst is approx. 65.00 ct intensifying the look. The amethyst is set in an ornately decorated black enamel gilded gold mounting boasting curves and complimented by the elegant chain. Each link of the chain is adorned with 2 French cut square amethyst set in the same stunning design of the mounting. The French cut amethysts have an additional weight of approx. 20.00 ct. This is truly work of wearable art. The pendant measures 2" x 1 3/8". The chain measures 26" long. Each link is 1 1/8" x 7/16". The entire pieces weighs 83.64 grams. It is marked 14k.
