Set in 18k yellow gold this eye-catching domed style opal ring is a show stopper. It dates from the 1950s. The exquisite mounting is ornate and artistic in textured gold and sets the stage for the star of show. Sitting like the megastar that it is, the round shaped vibrant , luminescent fiery oval opal reigns. The opal measures 8mm x 10mm. Surrounding the center are 6 smaller opals and a border of blue enamel that intensify the look. The ring weighs 13.85 grams. It is a size 5 1/2. It measures 1" x 7/8" across the top. It is marked 18k. Bold, Beautiful and intense.
