This exquisitely elegant carved Victorian hard stone intaglio pendant is set in 10k yellow gold. It dates from the late 1800's. The diamond shaped deep coffee colored carnelian is beautifully carved with an image of a Grecian goddess. There is a soft translucence that is accentuated when held to the light. It is framed in a diamond shaped roped golden frame. Simple sophistication infused with quiet powerfulness.
The pendant measures 7/8" x 1". It weighs 4.41 grams.
