This bold and irresistible vintage amethyst Sputnik inspired domed ring is set in 18k yellow gold. It dates from the 1960s. The domed shape of the ring is studded with round vibrant lilac colored amethyst stones creating this striking look. They are strategically placed in a domed mounting to generate this imposing beauty. All attached to a wide luxurious gold band. Casual opulence. The ring weighs 3.90 grams. It is a size 5 1/2, but can easily be resized at no extra charge. It measures 11/16" across the top and sits 3/8" off the finger. It is marked 750 (18k).
