This exquisitely elegant Masonic locket/pendant is set in 10k yellow gold. This piece dates from the Victorian era of the 1800's.The circular locket has a black enamel center with the inscription of letters in the middle of that in white and gold enamel. The letters HTWSSTKS represents "Hiram The Widow's Son Sent To King Solomon." All third degree Freemasons study the story of a man named Hiram Abiff (a.k.a. Hiram the Widow’s Son.). In Masonic teachings, Hiram’s story is held up as an example of loyalty.in the center. The back is engraved with the initials are HEA. The pendant is framed in an open gold frame beautifully decorated and engraved. The pendant weighs 5.51 grams. It measures 7/8". Simple sophistication infused with history.
