This breathtaking rooster brooch is a spectacular creation. It is set in 18k yellow gold. It dates from the 1960's. The rooster, in all its beauty, has an explosion of color in its feathers and a detailed and beautifully gold textured body. The feathers are a melange of vibrant blue sapphires, robins egg blue turquoise and rich red rubies. Its eye is outlined in round pieces of turquoise with a small ruby in the center.
