This bold and striking onyx and diamond brooch is set in 14k yellow and white gold. It dates from the art deco period of the 1930s. The heart of the pin showcases a breathtaking large, faceted hexagonal shaped jet black colored onyx. The onyx measures approx. 25 mm x 16 mm. The onyx is trimmed by a .75 ct of round sparkling diamonds. The diamonds are H in color and VS2 in clarity. The onyx is set in an open worked gold mounting boasting curves and complimented by a surge of diamond dazzle on the sides. The beautiful work emerges from every side accomplishing perfection. A quintessential look packed with pizazz. The pin measures 1 5/8” x 7/8".
