This captivating synthetic ruby and diamond flower brooch has a dreamy feel to it. It dates from the 1940's. It is set in 18k yellow gold. The foundation of the gold coiled stems are the perfect segue for the bloom of dazzle. The top spray of leaves holds gorgeous round cherry red synthetic rubies. The flowers on the bottom of the brooch emanating from the gold and contrasting with the red stones each hold a round diamond in the center. It all gracefully blossoms out of the golden stem which is wrapped in diamonds. The total approx. diamond weight is 1.35 ct. The diamonds are F in color and VS1 in clarity. This is enticing appeal all swathed up into a pin. The pin weighs 35.82 grams. It measures 2 7/8” long and 2 1/8” wide at its widest point.
