Captivating and charming, this vintage wheat stalk floral pin is set in 18k yellow gold. It dates from the 1960s. A beautifully crafted mounting of long spikes of gold whisping themselves into a perfect golden wheat stalk make this a fluid yet dramatic piece. Lining the center in a procession of blue and red and manifesting into shades of sophistication are round sapphires and rubies. The rubies have a total approx. weight of .20 ct. The sapphires have a total approx. weight of .10 ct. The brooch weighs 17.83 grams. It measures 2 7/8" x 1 1/4 at its widest".
