This sensational onyx and diamond pendant is from the 1960's. It is set in 18k yellow gold. Set in the striking oval shaped mounting sits 1 piece of jet black onyx in a crescent shape. Encrusted on the edge of the onyx and acting as a separator are a row of dazzling diamonds with a single diamond set in the middle of the onyx. The other half of the crescent is a piece of gold closing this dramatic oval pendant and making it a spectacular abstract and artistic piece. The diamonds have a total approx. weight of .50 ct. All diamonds are G in color and VS2 in clarity. Decadently bold. The pendant measures 3 1/2" long (including the loop) x 1 5/8" wide. It weighs 36.13 grams.
