These fabulous vintage black and white diamond earrings provoke a classic impression with a twist. They date from the 1980s. They are set in 14k yellow gold. The double dangle gold mounting, swathed with white diamonds all around create the stage for the showstopper to come. The top of the dangle holds an oval shaped faceted black diamond. Dangling from the top is a pear shaped black diamond composing a marvelous and sophisticated look. The two pieces come together with a diamond attaching the oval and pear shape. The total weight of the black diamonds is an astounding 16.71 ct. The surrounding white diamonds have a total approx. weight of .85 ct. The 2 diamonds that attach the black diamonds together have a total approx. weight of .28 ct. The diamonds are L in color and SI2 in clarity. The earrings measure 1 1/2" x 1/2". They weigh 14.06 grams.
