These sensational earrings are set in 14k white gold and saturated in chicness. They date from the 1970s. The center enormous majestically purple cabochon amethyst is bordered by a procession of diamonds curving up the ear. Each amethyst is approx. 21 mm. The diamonds have total approx. weight of .65 ct. The diamonds are G in color and SI1 in clarity. All together giving an air of alluring sophistication. The earrings are made for pierced ears, but can easily be converted to clips. They measure 7/8" x 7/8". The earrings weigh 23.65 grams.
