Dating from the 1950’s this opal ring casts an enigmatic and sexy vibe. The ring is set in 14k yellow gold. One oval shaped gleaming opal sits coddled in the center, set on a slight diagonal. The opal radiates with color and fire every way it turns. Nuzzling the opal are 3 round diamonds, crowning the top like a sparking tiara. The opal measures approx. 8 mm x 10 mm. The diamonds have a weight of .40 ct, .20, ct and .20 ct, for a total approx. weight of .80 ct. The diamonds are all H in color and SI1 in clarity. All set in this intriguing mounting of open worked textured chunky gold that evoke mystique. The ring weighs 12.80 grams. It is a size 7. It measures 3/4" x 5/8" across the top.
