Set in 18k yellow gold this heavenly plique a jour cross pendant makes a divinely bold statement. It dates from the 1960's. Shaping the cross are exquisite pieces of plique a jour in the rich color of merlot wine. The center is a deep sea blue round piece of plique a jour for contrast. All set in a circular gold frame. Each quarter of the frame has the Latin phrase Cristus Vincit written, Christ has conquered. An eternally intriguing piece. The pendant measures 1 3/8" x 1 3/8". It weighs 8.47 grams. It is marked 750.
