This darling horse drawn carriage brooch is set in 18k yellow gold. It dates from the 1970s. The exquisitely enamel covered wagon is decorated with a white enamel background setting the stage for the pastel colored fleur de lis decorating the covered wagon. The bottom of the wagon is a sky blue enamel, each panel dotted with a flower. The wheels, driver and 2 majestic horses are in 18k yellow gold. Each horse has a white enamel saddle. The wheels and side have synthetic rubies for extra color, but the rubies are synthetic. The attention to detail is intricate and impressive. A truly unique piece of jewelry. The pin weighs 9.63 grams. It measures 1 3/4" x 7/8".
