Ethereal and graceful, this hand carved conch shell cameo pendant and chain is master artistry at work. It is set in 14k yellow gold. It dates from the 1950s. Embraced in a unique tear drop gold frame, the ornate carving of the woman is the essence of romance. Her elegance is a highlight portrayed in the carving with so much intricacy and complex details elevating the entire aura. Right above the women is a smaller circular cameo with a carved floral design elevating the entire piece. All attached to a beautifully intricate designed chain. The cameo measures 1 3/4" x 5/8" at its widest. The chain measures 16". It weighs 5.69 grams.
