Ethereal and graceful, this hand carved conch shell cameo pendant and chain is master artistry at work. It is set in 14k yellow gold. It dates from the 1950s. Embraced in a unique triangular gold frame, the whimsical carving of the woman with flowing hair possesses the essence of romance. Her hair is a highlight in the carving with so much intricacy and complex details elevating the entire aura. All attached to an open work intricately designed chain. The cameo measures 1" x 1" at its widest. The chain measures 16" x 1/4" wide. It weighs 10.82 grams.
