This vintage 14k yellow gold amethyst and jade necklace is a seductive piece. It dates from the 1960s. The necklace spotlights a dynamic parade of oval intensely purple amethyst cabochon stones that are separated by almost conical pieces of deep green jade. The vibrancy of the purple stones against the richness of the green make for a contrast of opulence. All attached to a solid gold floral link chain that brings a certain softness to the piece. It’s tantalizing style makes for a sultry and provocative look. The necklace weighs 62.03 grams. The necklace measures 26". Each of the bigger amethyst links measure 1" x 1/2". The smaller amethyst links measures 3/4" x 1/2'. The jade pieces measure 3/8" x 1/4".
