This captivatingly alluring opal brooch/pendant is set in 14k yellow gold. It dates from the 1950s. Flaunted in an exquisite open worked floral inspired mounting sits 1 large round fiery opal with a spectrum of ever-changing colors. Encircling the large opal is a black enamel border fringed with a halo of green enamel leaves. In between the green enamel are smaller round opals dotted all the way around. The opals have a total approx. weight of 3.00 ct. The floral effect that this creates is a dreamy and romantic. The brooch weighs 13.37 grams. It measures 2" x 1". It can be worn as either a brooch or a pendant.
