Persisting charm explains this 14k yellow gold opal and diamond lavalier dates from the 1950s. Among the enchanting twists, swirls and whirls of the exquisite gold of the mounting sit 3 round cut diamonds in the center encircled by 8 vivid shimmering round opals creating a scintillating design. Suspended from the bottom are 3 golden dangles holding 7 more diamonds in their frames creating the drama. The diamonds have a total approx. weight of .50 ct. Diamonds are G in color and VS2 in clarity. An inviting exclamation of grace. The lavaliere measures 1" x 1 1/ 2". It weighs 14.19 grams. It can be worn as either a pin or a pendant.
