This Victorian micro mosaic brooch is spectacular. It is set in 18k yellow gold. The large square shaped brooch center is made out of extraordinary colorful micro mosaics. The subject is a dog sitting on a pillow. We think the dog is a Cavalier King Charles spaniel. The detail in this masterpiece is intricate and truly a work of art. The brooch measure 1 3/4" x 1 1/2". It weighs 26.06 grams. The pin is hallmarked. There is a bit of damage/tiny crack at the top of the gold of the pin. Otherwise it is in excellent condition.
